R34 rigging screw

Posted: 16 Apr 2013 - By: Anne Cees Houtman
Hello,

As you may know the R 34 Steady has changed hands to a family of absolute beginners. It looks as though one pair of them will be busy with tensioning one of the lower shrouds (barehanded) all next season since a helpful yard owner dropped a rigging screw overboard while unstepping the mast and I can't seem to find a replacement!

Does anyone know if they are still available? It is probably original, bronze, it's about 14 cm or 5.5 in long, the inside of the thread (imperial size, I guess) by sliding calipers is about 8.6 mm or 0.34 in.

Does anyone have these for sale?

Or what might be a suitable alternative?

Thanks,

Anne Cees Houtman
