R34 mainsheet track

Posted: 14 Jan 2009 - By: Philip Allwood
last year we fitted a new boom from Seldon and main sail from Kemps with lazy jacks to make life even easier, all works well.
i think though that the boom must be an inch or two shorter as the mainsheet rubs and catches constantly on the sprayhood; so i was just wondering if anyone has moved the mainsheet, boom attachments and traveller fore side of the raised coach roof and if so how have they gone about running the lines and sheets back into the cockpit?
i'm informed that the new boom section can easily cope with the move of attachment points and slightly different stresses that it causes, but would like to hear from anyone that has possibly already done this.
cheers phil ???\n\n
