A non-member's enquiry....

R32 vs R34?
Posted: 13 May 2011 - By: Michael Smith
A potential Rival owner, Brian Lawrence, has sent in this enquiry. 32, or the Westerly Fulmer both have there merits, the Rival comes up as the best and most forgiving sea boat, ( with the Contessa tending to get a bit wet in force 6s ), but they are starting to get quite old now. 32 is going to be a bit cramped, but as it32 hull ( built 1970-79 )is older than the average R34 (1972-85 ) and most of the R32 were completed by amateurs after the introduction of the R34, so Southern Boatyard Co completed boats hold a premium, but what about boats built by Marine Construction UK ?
